I'm afraid I simply have no time to write a proper blog post. Very busy at work which is a blessing as there were times over the summer when I wondered if the company I work for had a future.
Shane, I owe you a post or two, I know. It may take me a little longer than I had hoped but we'll get there.
Something I want to do is add an extra element to the figures. From some of the correspondence I've had, it seems that there are folk out there who do like to see the figures for each service, but a couple have asked if it's possible to do year to date figures too. So what I thought I might do is add each service's ytd numbers underneath the month to date figures, but what I will do is call August 1st the first day of the year. That way, the figures for the racing services are in line with those of the footie services, a significant number of which start up again after the summer break in August. So, the TPI year runs from August 1st to July 31st. That seems to be the fairest way of recording results for each service. And let's face it, it won't be the first time I've allowed football to dictate a part of my life!
For those not interested in the figures, all that doesn't matter a jot, does it?
