Dib Dib Dib, Dob Dob Dob.

Only time for figures tonight. It may only be the kids and reserves, but I've an appointment with The Arsenal tonight and before that starts I need to go pick up the young'uns from Dib Dib Dibbing or whatever it is Cubs and Brownies do nowadays (which is probably demanding money with menaces from vulnerable old age pensioners and showing off about their ill-gotten gains on Twitter, innit?).

Monday's Betting
On The Nose: Staked 2pts, -2pts.
Winning Racing Tips: Staked 0.8pts, -0.8pts.

Summer Of Football: Staked 1pt, -1pt.
Sportyy: Staked 5pts, +5.66pts.
Form Lab Lite: Staked 1pt, -1pt.

So Sportyy digs me out of a hole for the umpteenth time this month. I wish the holes would stop being dug in the first place!

By the way, if it's a losing day tomorrow, God help any trick or treaters. Trick or treat my arse!

  1. Now that you are famous I am not sure this post is worthy:-) I am hoping for some guidance following your recent blogs about withdrawing funds from asian bookies. As we know BODOG has pulled out of the UK and like many I requested by funds (just short of a £1000). 28 days, many emails and chats later, no funds. What can a person realistically do to get there funds returned. It does surprise me, as after this, when Bodog return to the UK seeking clients, who would risk placing their money? You assume that if you need your funds that they are returned. I cannot place funds with a business that has previously struggled to action a withdrawal. Help my friend, o famous one:-)

    1. Heh! I'm not even famous in my own living room!

It's a difficult one re. Bodog. They're not an 'Asian' bookmaker as such, but they must be regulated and operating under the rules of a Gaming authority. What gave 188bet the hurry-up when they were dragging their feet over a withdrawal was a threat to report them to the Gaming Authority that they operated under. Perhaps it was coincidence, but as soon as I mentioned this, they sorted out whatever issue they had with my withdrawal request. You may have done this already, but ask for the name of the Head of Customer Services because you wish to register a formal complaint. Find out the relevant Gaming Authority and who there you can address the issue with. Then write a strongly worded email, copied in to the Gaming Authority, threatening potential legal action should the matter not be resolved promptly. I don't know if this is the RIGHT thing to do, but it is what I would do.

I'd also be tempted to whizz an email over to the SBC and see what they suggest. I've read your thread on the forum - I don't know if they'd be able to help but it may well be a situation they've come across in the past with other members so perhaps they may be able to offer some practical advice.

Hope you get it resolved, and let me know how you get on.

  2. I will let you know, can I have a signed picture?

No seriously, thanks, I'll see what drops out and let you know. I expect I am not the only one in this situation.

    1. Don't know about the signed picture. You'd need to ask my agent. Complications with image rights, you know. :)

      Good luck.
